Vladan Pavić was born in Belgrade in 1967. He graduated from Belgrade's Faculty of Drama Arts, where he is also a professor in the Camera Department. In 1995, Pavic attended the Masterclass for DOP students in Budapest, taught by academy award winners Vilmos Zsigmond (ASC) and Billy Williams (BSC.) Pavic began his career in television, shooting news, documentaries and music videos. He has worked as a director of photography on three feature films and over 250 advertising campaigns and commercials. Pavic collaborates closely with some of Serbia's major agencies and production companies and has worked in Slovenia, Croatia and Macedonia. He is fluent in English. Pavic is married and has two sons.
