Production Designer

Aleksandar Veljanović

Born in 1972 in Belgrade, Aleksandar Veljanovic received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Belgrade’s Academy for Performing Arts. He worked as director of production for the Belgrade Drama Theater and as general director for the Belgrade Fortress before becoming involved in television and theater. He has worked for Pink Studios both as chief of production design and chief of the art department. Veljanovic has worked on several high profile feature films, including Milorad Milinković’s Čitulja za Eskobara (2007) and 2006’s Promeni Me, directed by Milan Karadžić. Theater is Veljanovic’s first love and he has worked on over 40 theater plays in Serbia and Bosnia. He is a member of the Association of Artists and Applied Arts of Serbia and speaks English and German.
