The Brothers Bloom is a caper film written and directed by Rian Johnson and stars Mark Ruffalo, Adrien Brody, Rachel Weisz, Zachary Gordon, Nora Zehetner and Rinko Kikuchi. Shooting began in Belgrade, Serbia on March 19, 2007. Executive producer was Serbian production company “Work in Progress” and the film is budgeted at $20 million. On May 15, 2009 it had a limited release and expanded into wide release two weeks later on May 29.
