Project IN THE NIGHT filming in Belgrade

October – This week a small crew for Project IN THE NIGHT is filming its Belgrade story on centric locations of Serbia’s capital. Producers Andy Brunskill and Nathan Roberts visited Belgrade in early September and they were thrilled with locations and creatives that they met.

Producer Andy Brunskill: “It really is like nowhere else. Everyone from all ends of the spectrum were so keen to help out and get involved – the whole place is throbbing with creativity and potential. Igor, at Cineplanet was a lifesaver and I can highly recommend working with him. And the girls at Serbia Film Commission. Not to mention our amazing crew who worked tirelessly throughout the long nights. Love it loved it. Thank you Belgrade!”

IN THE NIGHT is part of an omnibus of films set in selected cities from around the world portraying stories and serving as an ode to the city itself. The project is supported by Tourism organisations of Serbia and Belgrade, and Serbian production company Baboon with Vuk Rsumovic as a scriptwriter. Serbian born and UK schooled director Ivana Bobic is directing the Belgrade story with the support of cinematographer Rain Li, famous for her work on Paris, Je t’aime. They already collaborated on project with high visual identity for Stella McCarthny and the two will infuse Belgrade creative backdrops for the inspiring story set in one Belgrade summer night.
