BAFTA Award Winners to Begin Shooting Coriolanus in Serbia

London – On February 21, 2010 key crew members of Coriolanus, Ralph Fiennes’ directorial debut, received BAFTA nods for their work on Kathryn Bigelow’s Hurt Locker.
Director of Photography Barry Ackroyd and Sound Mixer Ray Beckett were among the six award winners for the film. Vanessa Redgrave, who will co-star with Fiennes in Coriolanus, picked up an Academy Fellowship for her “outstanding and exceptional” contribution to film. Ackroyd and Beckett are hoping to bring home an Oscars on March 7.
Preproduction for Coriolanus is underway in Belgrade.
