Born 1980 in Pancevo, Serbia, Vladimir Uspenski studied sound design at Belgrade’s Faculty of Drama Arts. He is experienced in sound recording and design for radio, theatre, music, film and television. Uspenski has worked on a number of short films, documentaries, series, animated and feature films, including the award winning documentary After The War, which won first prize at the Mediterraneo Video Festival in Salerno, Italy. Uspenski has also worked on a number of television prime-time programs, cartoons and animated series, including Sponge Bob the Squarepants, Ren & Stimpy and the Wild Thornberries. He won the Prever du Son award for best sound design for Evolution 2 at the 1er Regard Film Festival in Paris. Most recently, he has worked on several international coproductions, including Zone of the Dead, Jelena’s world and Geisterstunde. Uspenski’s work comprises over100 radio and television commercials and clips.
