Work In Progress is a highly accomplished and respected company that offers quality services within a developed film industry infrastructure. Work in Progress also offers competitive costs and multilingual, experienced professionals who have worked throughout the former Yugoslavia. The company strives to develop a film friendly environment for all production needs, working with local authorities to facilitate special permits and access to location sites. Work in Progress also enjoys strong partnerships with key industry players and counterparts across the Balkans, making it an ideal hub for regional and international productions.
UCLA MFA graduate (Angie) Vlaisavljevic (UPM for Tapestry Films in Los Angeles between 1999 and 2005) established Work in Progress in 2007. In the three short years since its founding, the company has successfully worked with several major foreign productions, including Ralph Fiennes' Coriolanus, Europa Corp’s District 13, and Ultimatum and Endgames’s The Brothers Bloom, the biggest budget film ever made in Serbia.

Services and capacity

WIP has a permanent staff of five and provides foreign productions with film services in Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia. Work in Progress strives to leverage Serbia’s rich pool of highly qualified actors, film technicians and a broad range of locations in order to attract international film producers.
