The Church of St. Peter and Paul (XIII century), also known as Cave Church, is a church on Stara Planina mountain, in a cave of Kalik hill near village Rsovci, 22 km far from Pirot. It is unique in many ways, primarily because of its location – it is in a cave. This church is famous for a fresco on the north wall of this sanctuary which is unique in Christianity, a fresco of Jesus Christ known as “Young Jesus“. Cave Church in village Rsovci has been under the protection of the state as a cultural monument since 1981.
