Customs Administration

The Customs Administration, part of the Ministry of Finance, is an executive authority of the Government that enforces the customs policy of the Republic of Serbia. Through simplifying the procedures, modernization of customs operations, education of employees and strengthening cooperation with other national institutions and services, as well as by active participation in international and regional customs services cooperation, the Customs Administration contributes to ensuring steady inflow of public revenues, efficient international trading, as well as to upholding security, safety and comprehensive protection.

Filming permits and procedures

A large number of procedures and permits for shooting directly or indirectly relate to the Customs Administration - Ministry of Finance. You can contact the Customs Service of Serbia through the Public Relations Group of the Customs Administration, which will forward each request to the competent sector of the Customs Administration.

Greenery Belgrade

Zelenilo Beograd (Greenery Belgrade) is public company working on the development and maintenance of public green areas and maintenance of public sanitary facilities. They do production of flowers, plants and trees,  decoration of new parks, greenways and recreational areas and to a lesser extent are involved in all areas of greenery planning, including trade with flowers, planting materials, seeds, pesticides etc.

Zelenilo Beograd operates in ten city municipalities.

Filming procedure

To shoot at any green surface in the territory of the City of Belgrade (parks included), the approval of Belgrade Greenery Company (JKP Zelenilo Beograd) is required.

Filming approval/permit is obtained by sending the relevant application indicating any specific requirements.

The Belgrade Greenery Company is also responsible for providing specific services for filming purposes, e.g., lawn mowing, snow removal, placement or removal of garbage bins, benches, or other similar furniture. There is a fixed fee scale for the use of sites; other services are charged extra.

Filming permits and procedures

Since 2015, the Ministry has been a film friendly institution and as such, it seeks to establish procedures and services that would ensure a professional film and television production and continuous cooperation with the film sector in attracting international film productions to Serbia.

By offering military locations for filming, renting equipment, armament and uniforms, engaging members of the Serbian Armed Forces as extras, lending archival materials, providing consulting services, we have established a successful cooperation with numerous local and foreign productions.

The state administration affairs defined by Serbian legislation and regulations adopted pursuant to the legislation are performed by the ministries. They apply laws and other regulations and general acts adopted by the National Assembly and Government, as well as the general acts rendered by the President of the Republic; they address administrative issues, conduct administrative supervision of the performance of assigned tasks, etc.

The internal affairs are the affairs stipulated by law, and performed by the competent state authorities in order to ensure the security of the Republic and its citizens as well as exercise of citizens’ rights as defined by the Constitution and law.

The internal affairs are performed by the Ministry of the Interior.

The internal affairs are conducted in a manner that ensures equal protection and exercise of freedoms and rights set out in the Constitution for every person and citizen.

In the performance of internal affairs only such enforcement measures may be used as are envisaged by the law, which help to accomplish tasks with as few detrimental consequences as possible for citizens and their associations, companies, institutions and other organisations.

The Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia performs state administration affairs related to:

  • protection of security of the Republic of Serbia and detection and suppression of the activities aimed at undermining or overthrowing the constitutional order;
  • protection of life, safety and property of citizens;
  • prevention and detection of criminal offences; finding and apprehending perpetrators of criminal offences as well as bringing them to competent authorities;
  • maintenance of public peace and order;
  • securing public gatherings and other meetings of citizens;
  • protection of certain persons and facilities;
  • road traffic safety;
  • border crossing checks;
  • control of movement and stay in the border area;
  • control of movement and stay of foreigners;
  • provision, possession and carrying of weapons and ammunition;
  • production of and trade in explosive materials, flammable liquids and gases;
  • fire protection;
  • citizenship matters;
  • personal identification number;
  • identity cards;
  • travel documents;
  • permanent and temporary place of residence;
  • staff training, and other tasks envisaged by the law.

Filming permits and procedures

In many cases filming permit procedure involves the Serbian Government’s Ministry of Interior ( Ministarstvo unutrašnjih poslova Republike Srbije), either indirectly or directly.  Any contact with the police should be made through the Bureau for Cooperation with Media (Biro za saradnju sa medijima) which processes all applications and forwards them further to specialised department of the Ministry.

vojvodinasume-logo-page-001-cchPublic Enterprise (PE) "Vojvodinašume", established in 2002, is company for forest management. Enterprise manages cca. 130,000.00 ha of forests and forestry land within the territory of Vojvodina province. It integrates administrative, managerial functions and functions related to commercial production in forestry, hunting and other domains. In 2008, PE "Vojvodinašume" obtained FSC certificate. PE "Vojvodinašume" is also manager of 17 protected areas (among others 5 special nature reserves) and is user of 19 protected areas. In total more than 86,000.00 ha of forests and forest land fall within the borders of protected areas.

Filming permits and procedures

To shoot at protected areas in the territory of the PE "Vojvodinašume", the approval of PE "Vojvodinašume" is required as well as preconditions for nature conservation issued by Institute for nature conservation of Vojvodina Province. Filming approval/permit is obtained by sending the relevant filming request indicating specific requirements. PE "Vojvodinašume" can provide logistic services for filming purposes. There is a fixed fee defined by Law for filming in protected areas while other services are charged extra.
