Borkovac lake is located near Ruma, 60 kilometers from Belgrade. The lake can be reached via Ruma with good asphalt road. Borkovac reservoir was built in 1970, and covers an area of 42 hectares. It has long been almost two and a half kilometers long and 300 meters wide. It has a capacity of about 1.6 million cubic meters of water. Summer water temperatures in the lake reaches 29 degrees Celsius, a transparent and up to a meter and a half deep. Water has a green color, as it is rich in plankton, which means that it is extremely clean. Also, Borkovac lake is full of fish. The lake has the “Aqua Camp” for all anglers, nature lovers and hikers.
