Near Dunavska street lies the Museum of Vojvodina and next door stands the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina. The building which today houses the Museum of Vojvodina was built in 1900 and designed by architect Gyula Wagner. Permanent exhibition, featuring items which date from the Palaeolithic to the first half of the 20th century, is set out over an area of 3000 m2.
