The Zemun graveyard was established in the middle of 18th century when the complex of three cemeteries was formed: the Orthodox, Catholic and Jewish. The remains of a defensive wall with bastions from 1841 form southern wall of the cemetery. A large number of tombstones are in different styles and with different iconographic features
