Weather in Serbia has a mild continental four season climate. The north of Serbia and the upland regions have a continental climate, with the typical cold winters and hot summers. The summer months of June to August offer a lovely hot climate and little rain. Precipitation is moderate throughout the year, and includes snow during winter. The mountains experience heavy snowfall, and the ski season is generally from December to April. The following chart shows average monthly temperatures.
