Golubac is located on the edge of Branicevo district, at the entrance to the Iron Gate, between Veliko Gradiste and Donji Milanovac. Golubac is situated on the right bank of the Danube River, which flows through Golubac municipality Golubac in the length of 52 km and represents its crucial and important geographic characteristic.
