The Kosmaj Mountain is situated 40 kilometers south-east of Belgrade, in Mladenovac municipality, with 626m it is the highest point of the entire Belgrade City area. Mild sky, wide clearings, thick pastures, numerous springs under the thick deciduous and rich in forests the mountain is one of the favorite weekend destinations with a mountaineering camp, private houses, cottages and villas. Mountain area encompases several monasteries and historical sites with Monument to Partisan Kosmaj regiment from WWII is the trademark of the area.
