“Šalinački lug” is comprised of approximately 19 acres. It represents one of the last remnants of once widespread forest from 300 years ago. Today it has 311 trees. This forest formation has its own special value, because the trees are considered to be very rare botanical monuments because of their size, age, appearance and condition. It is under the protection of the state and is located in the village Salinac 10km from downtown Smederevo.
