Topli Do village is at an hour’s car drive from Pirot. Village Topli Do, one of the most remote villages, is located at 33 km from Pirot and it is the nearest of all the villages under Midžor (2.169m). It is situated in the Stara planina Nature Park. The village kept much of its appearance in the architecture of 100 years ago and as such it is certainly one of the most authentic villages on Stara planina mountain. The mountain peak Babin zub (1,759 m) and the famous ski resort Jabučko ravnište on Stara planina mountain are only 7 km far from the village. In order to reach the village, you have to go through village Temska, and pass the canyon of the Temištica river (Little Colorado). This canyon is certainly one of the most attractive and most beautiful canyons of its kind in Serbia. What makes village Topli Do and its surrounding so attractive is a great number of waterfalls, in many ways unique in Serbia. A special attraction is Waterfall Pilj (Piljski vodopad waterfall), which is at about 4 km from the village. It is 64 meters high. At about 8 km from the village there is also another interesting waterfall, Kurtulski skok waterfall – 27m high.
