Stevan Aleksić has graduated at Film and Theater Production Design at the Faculty of Applied Arts, University of Belgrade. From 2006 to 2017 he was a professor at the Department of Production Design, Faculty of Arts and Design, and from 2018 he is an associate professor of production design, concept art and illustration at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts. In addition to production design, Stevan is engaged in developing visual concepts for films, genre films, making storyboards and designing movie posters. He had various exhibitions in UK Steamship, Staff, Flight, Yugoslav Film Archive Museum and other galleries. He is a member of the organizing team of the Serbian Fantastic Film Festival and the creator of the festival’s visual identity as well as its statue award – KOSKAR aka OSKULL. Together with VFX artist Miroslav Lakobrija, he made several independent films. Stevan did short form projects, too, and was awarded for them.
